Neuro Chiropractic Center

At the Insight Neuro Chiropractic Center, you get so much more than a quick treatment. You get over 20 years of clinical experience and the expertise of a board-certified functional neurology practitioner. Our doctors invest the time to carefully diagnose the cause of your pain and explain to you how to best alleviate that pain.

There are many causes of back pain, neck pain, headaches, and numbness and tingling in the arms and legs. Many of these causes are mechanical and can be helped significantly by chiropractic care. Other causes of pain include poor nutrition, stress, lifestyle, effects from medication, and serious disease.

Because Insight features a large, multidisciplinary team, you have more options and dedicated physicians working for you than at other chiropractic offices. Our doctors work diligently to make sure you have and get all the help you need.

Auto Accident Injury Care

Dr. Denning and Dr. Sullivant specialize in the diagnosis, care, and management of auto accident-related injuries. Spinal disc issues, headaches, whiplash, and debilitating pain are just some of the potential conditions to arise from an auto-related accident. Our physicians are experienced in the management of mild to severe conditions, including herniated/bulging discs and traumatic brain injuries. Our gentle approach to care comforts and relieves many patients’ pain while correcting the underlying cause of these symptoms.

Traditional Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is based on the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs and surgery. The practice focuses on the relationship between structure (spine) and function (the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health.

Many people assume that chiropractors only treat neck and back issues because chiropractic adjustments are performed directly on the spine. While the elimination of neck and back pain is certainly one focus, chiropractors treat many other conditions. The spinal column encases the nervous system, and the nervous system controls the numerous intricate functions of the human body. When the spine is misaligned, it will create disease within the nervous system, altering the way the human body is designed to function.

Chiropractic adjustments, along with other therapies and techniques, are combined in our office to create a whole-body approach. This may mean a preventative approach to health and wellness or recovery from traumatic injuries to the spine and extremities.

Our clinic offers the following chiropractic therapy services:

  • Therapeutic massage
  • Mechanical/therapeutic traction
  • Spinal decompression therapy
  • Myofascial release
  • Nerve flossing
  • Diversified manipulation
  • Drop-assisted manipulation
  • Ergonomics Counseling
  • Spinal rehabilitative protocols
  • Post-Surgical Care
Nutritional Analysis & Counseling

For many people, food and diet are very problematic. Instead of being a source of nourishment, food has become an area of conflict and confusion – endless weight loss dramas, eating disorders, cravings, addictions, body image obsessions, and never-ending searches for “the best” nutritional system.

Dr. Denning carefully evaluates aspects of our patients’ lifestyles and current diet in order to put together a comprehensive nutritional plan that is individualized to each person. No two people are alike; therefore no set of dietary recommendations will be the same. Dr. Denning uses science-based research to detail a nutrition program that includes anti-inflammatory components to assist in the reduction of your pain.

Pregnancy/Pediatric Chiropractic

During pregnancy, body changes occur rapidly to accommodate your baby’s growth. Chiropractic care can help your body readily adapt to these changes by ensuring your body is well connected through a fully functioning, unobstructed nervous system. Additionally, a properly aligned spine and pelvis can help to reduce pain and discomfort during all stages of pregnancy.

Postpartum, mothers are understandably focused on the health and comfort of their newborn child. It is important to remember the importance of the health and recovery of the mother during this period, as a healthy mother is able to more effectively meet the needs of her child. As the ligaments and tissue that loosened during pregnancy begin to slowly heal and tighten, postpartum women are likely to experience discomfort and pain related to instability of those areas. Couple this with the repetitive actions of breastfeeding, carrying your new baby, hauling diaper bags and car seats, etc.., and it is no surprise why most new mothers experience neck and back pain while adapting to life’s new tasks.

We take pride in playing an important role in your pregnancy health care!

Therapeutic Massage

Our therapists at the Insight Neuro Chiropractic Center are versatile in caring for the many different needs of our patients. Our therapists coordinate with our physicians to review your diagnosis, treatment, and care plan. This ensures that they will be able to best target your concerns during treatment. Our therapists have diverse experience and can perform many different styles of massage to suit your needs.

  • Deep tissue massage
  • Swedish massage
  • Sports massage
  • Medical/therapeutic massage
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Soft tissue massage/auto accident trauma
Rehabilitative Exercise Program

Therapeutic exercises for the spine and extremities are an essential part of the rehabilitative process following an injury. Our physicians designate therapeutic exercises depending on what each patient needs. The purpose of therapeutic exercises, when guided by our chiropractors, is to promote strengthening and stability following an injury or trauma to any area. This strengthening, in turn, supports the corrective care you are receiving during the spinal adjustment.

Therapeutic exercises and chiropractic care go hand in hand and can help speed you on your road to recovery when performed in conjunction.

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a type of motorized traction that may help relieve back pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. That changes the force and position of the spine. This change takes pressure off the spinal discs, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc. As a result, bulging or herniated disks may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This, in turn, helps promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks so they can heal.

Spinal decompression is not for everyone, but our physicians utilize this therapy in candidates with severe spinal conditions such as:

  • Bulging discs/pinched nerve
  • Disc herniation
  • Sciatica
  • Degenerative discs
  • Whiplash
  • Radicular pain
