Psychiatric Care With Medication Management
Psychiatric care with medication management is a form of outpatient treatment that includes determining the patient’s needs, issuing a prescription, and performing ongoing medical monitoring. Follow-ups occur once a month to every three months, as long as the patient isn’t experiencing problems with medication or a mental health crisis, which would require additional visits deemed necessary for safety. Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) are commonly used for treatment-related depression.
